The Safe & Smart project aims to direct the agri-food system towards an advanced and integrated scenario of systems for the prevention of risks and for the rapid diagnosis of chemical and biological contaminants. The challenge is to transform food safety from a problem into an element of competitiveness and development for the agro-industrial system, with important repercussions for other industrial and technological service sectors too.
