The CARTER project aims to create innovative prototypes of sustainable materials intended for the agri-food chain (with case studies on dry, frozen and baked products) equipped with an innovative digital device for their recyclability at the end of their life. CARTER’s objective is to optimize the products currently on the market, characterized by a significant percentage of plastic, favoring ecological packaging with a high cellulose base; the printing of specific codes on the laminates allows traceability from the beginning to the end of its life cycle.
